The 5 pillars of Islam

Hi! I thought that maybe I could talk to you about Islam. My Religion! In this post I will talk about the pillars of Islam.which means pillars of faith. The 5 pillars of Iman are 1. faith 2. prayer 3. charity 4. fast 5. Hajj What does each one mean?

Faith means to belive that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammad is his slave and messenger.

Prayer means to pray 5 times a day.

The 5 prayers are:

Fajr- prayed before sunrise

Duher- prayed when your Shadow is short

Asr- prayed when your Shadow is long

Magrib-prayed after sunset

Isha-prayed after the sky is completely dark.

Charity is when you give money to the poor.

Fasting-You fast the month of Ramadan (A whole month). which means no eating or drinking from sunrise to sunset.(From Fajr until Magrib)

Hajj means pilgrimage. You walk around the Kaba 7 times.

Those are what the 5 pillars of Iman.
